Description
QGIS version 2.1.0-Master
QGIS code revision 968c321
on Linux
Whenever I change the size of a point feature (have not tried lines or polygons) and re-open the dialog in which I did it (it is at different places, sometimes called Symbol Selector), the size is shown as "1.00". This also affects the Rotation in the same way, it is always shown as "0°".
If I enter a different value and hit OK, that value is correctly used for everything else.
See the attached screenshot for the dialog I mean. I am not sure what to call it.

you see the right values if you select "simple marker". The values in marker allows you to resize/rotate/etc a symbol made of >1 symbol layers.

Oh I see, thanks! That is not clear or intuitive at all. Maybe label that panel "Apply to affected markers" or something?

I agree, please make your proposal in the users or developers mailing list.
