Description
OS: Linux Mint 14.
QGIS version: 1.7.5-Wroclaw (that's what's in the Mint Repos)
I've looked and can't find a similar bug - apologies if it's a known one.
When I select multiple layers and click remove, the whole program simply shuts down. It happens with and without plugins enabled.

please update to qgis 1.8 with the ubuntugis repo

this bug was solved a while ago.
