Description

Currently the Title and Abstract input in the Metadata tab in the layer properties is saved to the project file, rather than to the layer QML file. Is there a reason for this, or could it be included in the layer style file as well?

Is this behavior intended, or might there be a fix for this some time?

My opinion, I would really like to have it saved in QML .

Hello, bug triage...

what do we do with this bug ? Metadata data information is stored in QLR files (at least title, abstract and keywords).
In my opinion, QML is for styles and nothing else. I use qml to load one or more style for a layer but metadata has nothing to do with style. I don't want to have metadata redefined just by applying a style.

I suggest that we close this bug as users can use QLR to achieve the described feature ? Can anybody confirm/infirm ?

Hello, bug triage...

I am closing this feature request for lack of feedback and because there is a workaround for the user.
