Windows crash when inspecting project properties with WMS layer open

Description
Running v1.7.3 'Wroclaw' on 64 bits windows 7 machine.
Qgis consistently crashes when I inspect project properties (settings->project properties) if I use WMS layers within that project.
Specifically, I was fetching a background map over Europe from http://wms.geonorge.no/skwms1/wms.europa. My project has CRS WSG-84 utm zone 33. If I delete the WMS layer I can inspect project properties all I want.
Additional information: code rev.00624b3, GDAL/OGR v 1.8.1, postgreSQL client v. 8.3.10, spatiaLite v 2.4.0, QWT v 5.2.1.

This issue has already been fixed in qgis master and has been backported for the 1.7.4 release that is few days away. Meanwhile you can use qgis master using the osgeo4w installer.

My extensive testing (trying to replicate the error at least 3 times in a row) suggests that this does not happen with version 1.7.4. Horray :)
I suggest to CLOSE this issue.
