r.external.qgis crashes QGIS

Description
If projections do not match, r.external.qgis crashes QGIS if not selecting the -o option.
r.external does not crash in both cases.
I noticed a lot of strange characters in the output
r.external -o source=/home/paolo/Desktop/Dati_corso_QGIS/dtm/w001001.adf =✏
