Description
Every time I cut an object, a crash dump appears.
When that dump occurs, everything you work on is blown away.
When debugging, it seems that qgis-core.dll does not handle exceptions.
The exception information is..
'The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.'
Personally, there seems to be a problem with memory access in qgis-core.dll.

Please attach the offending data and list the exact/detailed steps to do and that lead to the crash.
Also try the same operation on the latest 3.2.* release.

Please test with QGIS 3.4 - QGIS 2.18 reached it's end of life.
