Description

When adding a raster (approx. 2Gb in size), I get the following Crash dumped error:

minidump written to C:
\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\qgis-20170628-131429-6800-19520-59e0f78.dmp

This happens every time I try using QGIS 2.18.10.

My machine has 16Gb of RAM in case that is relevant.

I'm afraid not, the data is protected by an NDA, sorry that's not very helpful

can you point us to something freely available more or less of the same size (or not) that makes qgis crash?
does it happens with just that tif or others? do you known the lineage of the problematic file?

thanks
