Description
1. add a vector map
2. query a feture
3. select a row with an atribute
4. you can't copy it and paste to another app; too bad

You can now.
Select how many features you want in the canvas or in the attribute table, ctrl-c or select edit-> copy features and then paste where you need. It produces a csv using a "tab" as field separator.
I'm not sure when this feature was implemented, but works in qgis >= 1.1
