Description
It would be good if the "save as" dialogue would remembered the users last choice concerning the "add saved file" option.

Similar options in fTools, GdalTools ("Add result to canvas"), processing ("Open output file after running algorithm") and heatmap ("Add generated file to map").

I agree, it's rather annoying to have to constantly navigate to the same folders. One could also argue this is a bug.

But this isn't even about the folder - it's about the checkbox that decides to add the result to the map canvas or not. The folder is a different issue, but there's probably no one-fits-all solution for that either - whether to save this individually per tool, per plugin, per format, per type (e.g. vector/raster) or globally.
Storing it in the project instead of the settings might also be interesting.
