Description
Hello,
I just installed 2.4.0 and I'm having an issue with a polygon shapefile that worked perfectly in 2.2.0.
In full view the polygons everything is fine, but when I zoom in, the polygon disappears. At a really high soom level, the polygons reappear again.

remove the .qix file (the spatial index) and it will be ok. Probably it got corrupted somehow.
