Description
Hello,
I have 1.5gb on my C drive (yes, it is small, it's a SSD) and chose to install QGIS wholly on my E drive.
After a minute of installing, my computer crashed some applications, then terminated the install process and I found the cause was QGIS had dump over 1Gb of data on my C drive.
There really is no need to do this. When you select to install on a specific drive, it should do that.
Regardless, even if it needs to use C drive temporarily or permanently, it should be doing a disk size check to say whether it can install, rather than just crashing.
Now, of course, I need to figure out where all these files have been dumped because the installer has closed down as well.
thanks.
